The scientific committee invites submissions of high-quality and unpublished theoretical and empricial research papers from "emerging sholars" (i.e. within 3 years of completion of their PhDs) addressing: Contemporary Issues in Financial Markets and Institutions. Papers will be selected based on their relevance to the conference theme, theoretical and empirical rigour and originality. Each paper will be assigned a disscussant. The conference format will provide ample opportunities for discussion and debate.

Special Issue: European Journal of Finance
Guest Editors: John O.S. Wilson, Barbara Casu, David McMillan
Authors should indicate if they wish their paper to be considered for a special issue of the European Journal of Finance

Best Paper Prize Sponsored by: Pearson Education Financial Times Publishing
A prize sponsored by Pearson FT will be awarded to the best paper presented at the conference.
