MBA Business Research Projects

Latest business thinking

With stringent entrance criteria and a globally renowned teaching and research reputation behind them, our MBA programmes produce high-quality candidates for business.

As part of their course, our students must complete a final project analysing a real life business issue and offer potential solutions. This in turns provides you with a unique, objective look at an important aspect of your business.

The process

Call our MBA Careers team on +44 (0)20 7040 5255 to discuss the project you have in mind.

The brief

We will then send you a simple project proposal form to complete and return. All organisations are asked to complete this form. An academic will be assigned to the project, which can then be advertised to MBA students on Cass Careers Online. You are free to revise the brief as you and the student start to tackle the topic.

The student

Students apply for projects in the same way they would apply for a job i.e. by submitting a copy of their CV and Cover Letter to you via Cass Careers Online. You can then decide which students you would like to meet and contact them directly to arrange an interview. The Careers Team build professional relationships with the MBA students and can help businesses with the selection process if required.

The terms

Once accepted, the student will produce a document defining the scope, deliverable and remunerations, where appropriate, of the project. This document can also include any confidentiality agreements you may require.

The timing

Full-time MBA students are available to complete Business Research Projects towards the end of June and the beginning of July. Projects typically last between 8 - 10 weeks. Part-time students (i.e. EMBA and MEMBA students) can be more flexible with start and completion dates and may be available to undertake projects throughout the year.
